'So Shiny, So Chrome' takes place 13 years after The Fall, a combination of the Oil Wars that came to a climax with a nuclear event. Our setting is the Wasteland, once the Australian outback. Wildlife mutated by radiation prowls the wasteland; weather is harsh and highly unpredictable; roving gangs of survivors fight for what remains of precious resources.
What a day, what a lovely day.
----- Season: Winter Weather: Days 8°C/Nights -10°C
Winter has descended once again on the Wasteland as merciless as ever. Days are cold, and with little cover the high winds are all the more biting; even without snow, hypothermia and frostbite are a constant threat. The only relief is that many of the Wasteland's creatures are in hibernation.
Crash chuckled as he watched the exchange. Finally he called to Nolan, "Worry about the stowaway later! We'll make 'em walk the plank of the back of Scrappers monstrosity farther down the line, we need to get this shindig going!" He said with a playful sarcasm dripping in his voice. He glanced up to Anna and felt a bit of the jovial spirit leave him before he sighed.
"Oy, with his Unimog only able to do the speed of grandma and having a pup for a stowaway, I'll take point. Just don't let the wench on top of your truck start using me Daytona as target practice." He said to Scrapper.

It wouldn't surprise Nolan in the least if Alex had planned for this to be the moment to reveal her presence.
"Worry about the stowaway later! We'll make 'em walk the plank of the back of Scrapper's monstrosity farther down the line, we need to get this shindig going!"
Every fiber of his being wanted to go straight back to the homestead and make Alex stay put, so the remaining Anzacs wouldn't be without a medic and where his daughter would be safer. However, it already looked bad enough that Nolan couldn't control his people, or one of them, at least; so against his better judgment, he returned to the Pathfinders, only offering a small, exasperated smile and a shrug.
"Oy, with his Unimog only able to do the speed of grandma and having a pup for a stowaway, I'll take point. Just don't let the wench on top of your truck start using me Daytona as target practice."
Nolan ignored the jab at the Unimog.
"We have two vehicles scouting ahead; once they reach their objective locations, they'll signal to us whether or not we're clear to proceed."
