'So Shiny, So Chrome' takes place 13 years after The Fall, a combination of the Oil Wars that came to a climax with a nuclear event. Our setting is the Wasteland, once the Australian outback. Wildlife mutated by radiation prowls the wasteland; weather is harsh and highly unpredictable; roving gangs of survivors fight for what remains of precious resources.
What a day, what a lovely day.
----- Season: Winter Weather: Days 8°C/Nights -10°C
Winter has descended once again on the Wasteland as merciless as ever. Days are cold, and with little cover the high winds are all the more biting; even without snow, hypothermia and frostbite are a constant threat. The only relief is that many of the Wasteland's creatures are in hibernation.
Not the brightest bulb in the box. He's been gunning for a driver position for a while but is often over looked for his fluctuating devotion to the matter of Valhalla. At least that's what he thinks in the weird part of his brain that actually functions at a slightly higher level. He tends to fly into battle solely to do as he's been told. He's best with other War Boys in battle because he feeds off their kama-krazee energy. On his own he thinks too much about his position in life.
This was it. The long denied doors of Valhalla were opening wide. Vasco's mangled body was left in the trail of scrap he'd taken off a war rig in aerial explosive glory. Hours later, air refill the lungs of powdered flesh that, once again, denies him passage from this world.
A punishing trek through the wastes on foot could lead to:
-The sands under his feet suddenly gives way. Vasco awakes to find himself in the bottom of a man-dug pit. -A stumbling figure, slumped and slow appears on the horizon.
